| Anne Pharel was born in 1967. Her studio is located in the heart of Provence.
Alongside a personal practice of drawing, sculpture, writing, and photography, Anne Pharel has participated in the design and realization of numerous exhibitions. Among them for Willy Ronis, first in 1997 on l’Isle sur la Sorgue and in 2001 at the Château de Gordes, and J.H Lartigue in 1999 on the l’Isle sur Sorgue.
She undertook a role in Andre Pharel’s photo exhibition Traversées at the Campredon Centre d’art on l’Isle sur la Sorgue by creating textual sculptures for the occasion. Writing for websites and various art catalogs, Pharel has also been closely involved in writing and developing the layout for photographic books.
After many years silently engaged in the practice of photography, Pharel continued creating personal work and began exhibiting in 2014. L’Intangible is her first exhibition in Paris. From November 5th, 2016 through February 11th, 2017. |
