Taulé / Insula Lux, Enhanced Photographs
The Catalonian painter presents an astonishing exhibition of chromogenic prints enhanced with oil. Each work, like his paintings, is unique. Renowned for his chiaroscuros, Taulé's game is played between shadow and light in highly architectural locations and opens an entirely new perspective. At the center of the image, a well of light draws the eye. Taulé paints in oil directly on the print: erasing a character here, adding an imaginary perspective there, and there again opening a door into a garden.
